Weekend in Amsterdam

Louise was doing a one week course in Arhem last month. I went with her in advance to enjoy a weekend in Amsterdam.

Vacances a la montagne (1)

I had to cycle through a cement factory on Sunday. It felt as if i was visiting the set for a cheap science fiction television series:

added to the atmosphere: quite sureal really. Here i am stretching my arms half way up a hard climb. Only managed to fall at the final move. Oh well!



We camped at a site run by a farm and Louise couldn't resist the local pets:



Not much climbing on sunday morning due to the weather



but in the afternoon we climbed this



going up the north ridge (on the picture, the right hand side of the mountain) and walking down the heather ledge. From the top, we could see



on one side and



on the other. We didn't stay long!

Petit tour a Delhi

Hiers, j'ai fait un saut a Delhi, en voiture avec chauffeur. Je voulais visiter le "Indian Mountaineering Foundation". De la fenetre de la voiture, j'ai pris quelque photos:

La bonne nouvelle, c'est que j'ai trouve un mur d'escalade a Delhi! Je pourais faire du sport en exterieur lors de ma prochaine visite! J'ai egalement commence a me renseigner sur les modalites indiennes pour faire de la montagne. Et pour me plonger dans l'ambiance, j'ai achete les deux derniers numeros de ???
