Chineese New Year

We went to the Chineese new year celebration on the university campus yesterday. We met Louise's Friends Kate, Gordon and Beth - who's not on the picture:

It was dark and only a handful of pictures are worth showing: the legend of monkey puppet show, one dance, the drums and the fireworks. We did miss a couple of acts when we retreated to the union for a hot chocolate in the warm!

B. A.

Laughter is best

Remi: Why am i attracted to interesting people with personnality?
Remi: how about trying the decorative plant approach?
Remi: nice to look at but no conversation
Remi: hmmmm
Remi: i'm too poor for the trophy wife approach anyway
Emu: ha ha, and youd be very unhappy
Remi: lol
Remi: i've had lots of windows opened at the same time,
Remi: most of them made me laugh
Remi: so i've been laughing continuously for 15 minutes now!

Tapas and 5 nationalities

2 days in London for work. With no evening lecture/conference to go to, it was the ideal opportunity to meet up with MBA colleagues. Allan had booked a table in a Spanish restaurant. It was great to catch up, share work and lifestyle stories, and all the gossip of course. Good wine and tapas. Very relaxing and civilised, as can be seen in the picture below:

There are 5 nationalities in this picture: Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Russia, British and France. In fact, the photographer had a strong north American accent so that makes it 6...

Dix de perdues, une de trouvee?

Je dois en etre a huit. Courage! J'y suis presque...
