Yesssss! My long awaited winter 2006 ski holiday has started. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time: The Chamonix-Zermatt ski traverse. It's best to do it late in the season, to minimise the risk of avalanches - and the low temperatures? As most of the skiing is done above 3000m high, lack of snow is no concern.
